have you wondered where we've been? ya, me too. some days i'm like, 'what the heck am i doing! where am i?'
and then i remind myself...'well, whitney, you're in philly going to school to become a nurse so you can birth babies in other countries so mothers and newborns don't die...remember?'
and then i get motivated again. but its hard. some days i just want to throw in the towel....pray for me, will ya?
anyway, let me update you. david is still going strong in seminary school. he's half way through his 4th semester and still loves it, though days he has the same thoughts as i expressed (see above).
jaythan is 20 months old. flippin 20 months! when in the heck did that happen!? and where was i?? he's wonderful and awesome. he runs and dances and talks and sings. he loves blueberries and likes to put his socks on his hands like puppets. i love him.
nursing school is going. its tough and every day it stretches me and teaches me something new. and by god's grace i'm passing. this semester we have clinicals in hospitals and i'm constantly challenged and humbled by the patients i encounter.
god, help me be your hands and feet, kay? cuz i will really suck at this without you.....
i will try to update this more often, but don't hold your breath. i was motivated to post when i realized that it's been almost a year since my last post. yikes.
